LEGION WASTE REMOVAL – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of waste removal services by Legion Waste Removal (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“you”, “your”). By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services Provided
We offer waste collection, removal, disposal, and related services as agreed at the time of booking. All services are subject to availability and may vary depending on location and waste type.
3. Booking and Payment
* Bookings can be made via phone, website, or other agreed methods.
* Prices are provided based on the information you supply. Final costs may vary if the volume or type of waste differs.
* Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
* We reserve the right to charge deposits for certain jobs.
4. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
* Provide accurate details about the type and quantity of waste.
* Ensure safe and reasonable access to the waste location.
* Identify and disclose any hazardous or restricted materials.
* Be present (or have a representative present) at the time of service, if required.
5. Prohibited Waste
We do not accept certain types of waste, including but not limited to:
* Hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos, chemicals, solvents)
* Medical or clinical waste
* Explosives or flammable substances
* Any waste prohibited by law
If such materials are found, we reserve the right to refuse collection and may charge a call-out fee.
6. Changes and Cancellations
* You may cancel or reschedule your booking with at least 24 hours’ notice.
* Late cancellations may incur a fee.
* We reserve the right to reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, vehicle issues).
7. Pricing and Additional Charges
* Prices are based on estimated waste volume, labour, and disposal costs.
* Additional charges may apply for:
* Extra waste not disclosed
* Difficult access (e.g., stairs, long distances)
* Waiting time beyond agreed limits
8. Liability
* We take reasonable care when providing services; however, we are not liable for:
* Pre-existing damage to property
* Damage caused by inaccurate information provided by you
* Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided unless otherwise required by law.
9. Permits and Permissions
It is your responsibility to obtain any necessary permits (e.g., parking suspensions) unless otherwise agreed.
10. Environmental Compliance
We aim to dispose of waste responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Wherever possible, materials will be recycled.
11. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours. We will aim to resolve any issues promptly.
12. Privacy
Any personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of providing services and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.
13. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always apply to new bookings.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of UK courts.
